The Crypto.com Showdown did something the world of professional golf had made nearly impossible: it put LIV and PGA Tour stars on the same course. In a primetime, under-the-lights match at Las Vegas's Shadow Creek, the PGA Tour's Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler took on LIV Golf's Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka across an 18-hole, Ryder Cup-style format. Open mics and dozens of cameras put viewers inside the rivalry, while the multimillion-dollar purse raised the stakes even higher.
