Players Era 2024

Players Era launched college basketball's boldest new idea with its inaugural 2024 festival, built from the ground up around the players. Over Thanksgiving week in Las Vegas, eight top programs — including Houston, Alabama, Oregon, and Notre Dame — met in a brand-new early-season format that put a championship on the line before the calendar even turned to December. Every team's athletes had access to more than $1 million in name, image, and likeness opportunities, roughly $9 million in all, a first for the sport. Airing across TNT, TBS, truTV, and Max, it made the case that the season's opening week could be an event worth building around the athletes themselves.
