Synopsis

Featuring never before seen interviews and footage, Chris and Martina: The Final Set brings together tennis superstars Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova to narrate their intertwined histories. The intense rivalry between these players pushed both of them towards the ultimate goal of being the number one tennis player in the world. Evert’s all-American background contrasted with Navratilova’s upbringing in communist Czechoslovakia, but both were tirelessly committed to the sport. In the present, Evert and Navratilova deal with their respective battles with cancer, reckoning with the effects of illness and medical treatment on their lives.
